And I loved that game so much and wanted to know if it was okay to join in on here, see if anyone wanted plots, alternate things and such. I'm totally cool starting fresh and new, bringing in lines people need and building on that. Creativity finally coming back after Covid's kick in the nuts. MJ here introducing a new character.

This here is Bobby Lee who was born and raised in Seven Devils but age 18 ran afoul of a very crafty demon who possessed and ran off with his body from that point onwards. Luckily for him the demon made the mistake of running into Templars and Men of Letters who immediately recognised the signs of possession and did something about it. It was an uphill battle but eventually Bobby was freed.

Bobby was and remains an outstanding missing persons cases so on his return, now age 24, that'll be one less thing for the Sheriffs department to worry about ;) Also the local MoL branch/Templars in residence will have been briefed and Bobby's probably currently crashing with the MoL

It's definitely going to be an adjustment for him and for anybody who might have known him from way back in the day so give me all the things and we can make this fun for all involved!

He joins the rest of my motley crew who are also available for anything/everything.

Anyway, this is Cole. He's Prairie's missing twin. He's not the same kind of hot mess that Janey is when I finally let her get rescued, but uh. He is a weird, eccentric, lover and definitely NOT a fighter. He's been in Scotland the past like bajillion years (just hundreds, I'm feeling some hyperbole today, I guess). He's just rolled up to SD for REASONS and so he's a newb.

Hey everyone! I'm Hannah. I know a handful of you, but several are new names so heyyy to everyone. I bring you two kiddos. To start with, who knows how long that will last. :)

Maxine (Max) Corbin | 22 | Bitten Werewolf | leashed

• Max is pretty new to the werewolf life. It's not been quite a year since she was bitten, so while she does have the monthly routine of the moons down, she's still working on getting used to the extra senses/strength, aggressiveness, etc. that comes with the wolf territory. She's a native of the general area but not to Seven Devils specifically - a couple mountain towns over. There have always been rumors of what goes on in SD, but until recently, they were nothing but ghost stories she and her friends told to spook each other around a campfire.
  
• She takes advantage of the area and enjoys the typical outdoor/mountain activities all year round. She currently holds down a front desk job at the Sugar Mountain resort and teaches skiing part-time in the winter season.
  
• She's friendly to most but maybe less so since she was bitten. Her bark is probably bigger than her bite.

Nemamiah | old as creation | Angel of Just Causes | nemamiah

• This is my angel baby that I've written for years that originally was sorta meshed in the Supernatural/Hex fandoms. High fives all around for any Hex fans. As the Angel of Just Causes, Mia is drawn to injustices and those who cannot defend themselves, many times children. Seeing all sorts of tragedy in her time gives her an appreciation and compassion for humans because she sees their resilience too. She tends to understand their instincts/impulses sometimes more than she understands Father's plan and why so many bad things happen that she isn't able to step in and prevent.
  
• Her job is TBD at the moment, but since her host was a pediatric nurse, she's likely to end up somewhere in the medical field if even in a small way.
  
• Given her "job" as an angel, I'm open to humans (non-demons, basically) she might have come in contact with if there's anyone with some sad or ~tragic history of some kind. For her siblings, she loves all of you, fallen or not, and yes she understands why some of you peaced out of 'ole Papa's Army.

Backstory and history is great, and I'm open to any ideas you guys may have with either of mine. I'm a big fan of logs, so I'm always open to scenes or anything else if mine are needed or wanted. :) I'm EST and am usually around more nights/weekends for game-play, but am pretty available for other things during the day. I look forward to writing with all of you!! <3

Because I've caught a case of that 0 self-control that's been going around... It's Brooke here and I'm adding not one, but two characters to my roster.

First up I have Rebecca Byrne. She's 35, a Born Werewolf who has been living in Seven Devils for about fifteen years or so after escaping from a particularly nasty situation as a teenager. She's a tattoo artist here in town and while she's not fully Pack, she's not a lone wolf either. That sort of in-between where she attends the occasional social event and helps out where she can but isn't fully committed because... reasons. I have a couple of established connections for her but always welcome more so bring me your plots. Her bio is over here.

And secondly, I have Kim Spencer. My 25-year-old Human, and a proud nerd-girl who is the endless disappointment of her family. Kim's a lifer who works at 8-Bit emporium, has her own fandom-related shop on Etsy, and has a Podcast about all the supernatural insanity that goes on in SD >.> Don't worry, it uses zero names (including the town) and enjoys only a small yet enthusiastic following from people who think its a no-budget Welcome To Nightvale or Magnus Archives. It's also worth noting she has no proof of the supernatural world but ya know. She lives in SD and has eyes.Her bio is over here. Bring on all the connections for her as well.

Now that the plot is over because this bitch would have noped right out and never returned, I'm bringing you a shiny old vampire. Agnes was born in 1840 and turned by her sister when she was 25. Despite being the youngest in her family? She is, without a doubt, the matriarch. Level headed, subtle, elegant, full of social tact, and a bit uncompromising; she is- for lack of a better word- 'stuck-up'.

Agnes turns her nose down at anything she deems 'uncultured' or 'frivolous'. There is probably nothing she detests more than this modern age. She views previous centuries to be far superior, and she would rather be ANYWHERE else than stuck in America. This is her own personal hell.

She's a package deal, so she isn't coming in alone. Nessie is bringing her beyond ridiculous husband Jack Grantham with her. Listen okay, listen. She realizes you may have many questions like what the hell she was thinking when she married this beast of a man who likes to wear his hair in pigtails. It took him twenty years of proposing EVERY DAY before she finally fell for him. She realizes he's everything she's not, but she doesn't have any answers for you.

Her trainwreck socialite sister/maker Jane Grantham is the whole reason Agnes has returned to the states. Once again, Janey has gotten into trouble, and Nessie has to swoop in to clean up the mess (or so she thinks). Her headaches revolving around Janey are numerous because her sister will put herself in harm's way to spare someone else hurt. This has landed her in more than her fair share of trouble, both wittingly and unwittingly. Janey is something of a danger magnet with genuinely good intentions.

So, yeah. Have a new vampire family? Old friends/enemies, new friends/enemies, and all the plots are welcome!

Hi all

Some of you know me and mine so these characters will be familiar if not eerily similar to what you remember of them, but for those who don't? I'm MJ and I will be bringing in a small cast of characters to SD.

All but two have the exact same backstory/history and I am hoping connections in town with an explanation provided as to why they have not been around.

Two have changed, one more dramatically than the other. Cody King is now Jesse Weaver, born wolf, Kitty's BFF who will be arriving in town shortly. And then there's Warren who was previously a witch but is now a vampire due to some unfortunate luck in New York City. Ideally looking for new connections for Jesse and hopefully pick up on Warren's old connections from childhood and the whole coming to terms with being... undead.

Am looking to get them as involved as humanly possible and all connections and suggestions for CR and other such fun is highly encouraged nay very much desired :)

Hey all. Brooke here bringing in my second character (that took no time at all). Juliana is Seth's disaster-prone Vampire sibling who has left the side of her Maker for the first time in over 600 years to undoubtedly, make Seth's life worse better by joining him in SD.

It's her first time here so outside of Seth she probably wouldn't know anyone here? That said, I'm always down for plotting or any links that could have come about over the last 600+ years as she's had a few memorable incidents including seeking revenge on the OTO with Seth, nearly starting a war with a wolf pack, and most recently finding herself the target of a coven of witches which led to her maybe, sort of... accidentally a little bit... almost killing Seth.

I'm Caitlin and I'm so excited to be here with you all. A bit about me: I am a newish mom with a 1.5 year old who keeps me very busy. Between him and running my own small business I am not always able to respond to the joys of the internet right away but I feel confident I can return to RP after my extended maternity leave from writing. <3 I typically work Monday thru Saturday but my hours vary, which is the yummy treat of freelance work. I do not stay up very late just yet so if you want to catch me live the day time EST is best. Thanks!

My woofy fella here is Francis Clyde Winther, MD, who is here to help with all of your medical needs. I plan to post up a location for his family practice, Twilight Family Medicine, with details for anyone who might want a job there or those needing a medical locale for a scene. The practice used to be open in a previous location but after an arson attack burned the entire building (the medical center along with whatever other businesses in the small strip) down in 2018 Francis closed up for a while to grieve the loss of his wife, mother, and others who were taken in the fire. He has taken the death of his wife particularly hard and only just now is getting back on his feet emotionally.

Francis is the Seven Devils pack Beta! He was born and raised here in town, loves his pack, and would do anything for them. So much so that he went to medical school to learn how to better care for their growing stages as children, sickness, and injury. The Winther family line has regularly been in healthcare for generations so it was not much of a stretch and one he did gladly! Please feel free to reference at any time the old family line as part of the town/pack history if you like. You don't need my permission to reference them, only if you'd like to make some historical fact--which I am totally open to building up that world! I want to make a new profile page to keep tabs on the Winther family and Seven Devils pack history for future writing reference. <3

I would love to explore any and all relationship ideas you may have from Besties and Love to Rivals and downright Enemies. A note on the Love line--he is still in mourning for his lost wife so this will be a long term line. He was never the type to sleep around or jump from relationship to relationship but especially now as I delve into his recovery it will likely take some time. He may even be blinded to someone's affection because he does not have his eyes open to it!

I have various family members open for anyone interested in picking up a line. I have no real requirements for any of them, though I have been toying with the idea that his father (open!) may have been the one to start the fire. His father is a very strong conservative and purist who was none too please that Francis married a normal old human he didn't even have the guts to turn into a were! Oooh. Scandal. Of course the fire didn't go according to plan since father dearest also lost his own wife in the process. Dun! Dun! Dun!

What's up, my lovelies. I wanted to stop by and update y'all on some stuff, I figured I owed you that much.

The last few weeks haven't been good for me. I was finally able to remember to get a doctor's appointment, and he upped my antidepressants. So it's been almost a week at the new higher dose, I'm hoping it helps. Work continues to put me through the wringer, and I've developed a bad case of insomnia. Blah blah Liz's umpteenth sob story blah.

Anyway. The spark to write is still there. The desire is there. I'm trying to kick my ass back into gear, but it's kind of like...steering a container ship. You give the command, it will move. It just takes a bit. And that being said, if anyone wants to plot things to help pull me out of my funk, it's a 3-day weekend this weekend, and I'm going to be a fucking potato. XD

Jo was born and raised in Seven Devils but was sent away to live with an Aunt at the age of 9, after seeing her mother mauled to death by a 'wild animal'. Fast forward 20 odd years and Jo's returning to her hometown for the first time, after learning of her father's death.

Jo is human, and until very recently was oblivious to the supernatural world. At least until she read her father's journals and discovered he was a Hunter who believed somebody was trying to kill him.

If anyone is interested in having connections to her from the past (childhood friend) or to her Dad, please do hit me up. Her Dad also kept journals that mentioned the various supernaturals he encountered so if you'd be interested in plotting something on that front, I'm here for it.

EveMarie StPaul is a succubus. A comparatively young succubus, without complete grasp of the full breadth and scope of her abilities. While the infernal half of her parents did give her some insight when he turned up in her life later, she was too busy being flippantly disrespectful to really learn much. Her mother (maiden name, Andromeda Gaudin) was a Templar who left the order after, through no want or fault of her own, being impregnated by a demon. Did her best despite it all to love and raise her daughter right. Great mom. Best mom. Sole reason Eve has any kind of a moral compass.

She was born in Seven Devils, but ran away to NYC at sixteen after discovering the truth™. Spent the subsequent decade and a half in a veritable den of iniquity. Up until having a come to jesus moment when she met her father and realized she did not want to be anything like that personification of garbage on a hot day. Moved back to town about six months ago, after her mother and step-dad died in a car "accident" (spoilers: they were for sure murdered. why? idk yet, sis).

Eve works the graveyard shift as a waitress at Mountaintop Diner. She has custody of her 15-year-old half brother, Grayson. It's a less than organic set-up given she was absent for pretty much his entire life, but despite wanting to fight him in a Denny's parking lot every time he uses a cup on an un-lacquered wood table without a coaster, if anyone even looks at him wrong she'll peel off their skin and salt what's underneath.

This was a really thick nutshell, I realize. Mea culpa.

On that note, pls press 1 for plot. Childhood friends. Late night eaters. StPaul family friend who looked after Grayson in the interim while was packing up her life in NYC. Anyone who might have known mom from her Templar years. Or after her Templar years. Free space for ties to her dads. Anyone wanna be a murderer? Snacks.

I'm sorry I've been a little absent - between hurricane blackouts and working on some job-related writing (Writing professionally makes me anxiety spiral which is a great trait for someone trying to be a professional writer) I haven't had the bandwidth to keep up with everything, so I'm going to try and get back in the swing this week.

Heya, lovely peoples.

This is Irish, bringing you character #2: Finley Danielle Quinlan.

Finley comes from a small family of well-known hunters that others call in when they need that extra oomph. A mix of old and new money, the fact that they have it means that Finley can focus on hunting whenever she wants.

She's a bit of a twist. Danger doesn't have the same meaning for the young woman as it does for other people, which worries those around her pretty often. She may go in "guns blazing", so to speak, but Finley always gets the job done. It doesn't matter if she's hobbling or broken by the time it's done, but it's done, it just matters that it's done. Her tunnel vision can sometimes be a bitch.

She's sarcastic, she's blunt, she enjoys having fun, and she enjoys being a hunter. Perhaps a little too much.

Elizabeth Bathory was a witch - I mean, how could she not be? And Zelda here is a descendant who specializes in invocation and hexing - incorporating blood magic. Did a little stage magic whens he was younger, occasionally still does. Her soul is contracted to the demon Paimon, like the majority of her family has been for centuries. They created a card/dice game called Valko's Gambit that allows players to gamble with their soul. If you lose, demons come to collect. It's a way for their family to satiate their obligations without really getting their hands dirty. The game itself has been around since 1866 and is an occult staple.

There are 4 Valko sisters altogether, the oldest and craziest being Yersinia, who would easily make a go at the nexus for power. Which is why Zelda and Istvan have shown up to keep that from happening.

THEIR SON (if anyone wants to play him) is Kalman - he's the combination of two stage magicians from powerful witch lines, and somewhere in between Istvan's chaotic energy and Zee's dark grace. He spent a good amount of time as a baby with Teodora, hence why he looks slightly older than he is and the freckles ♥

Hi howdy hello one and all. It's Liz again, with another witch. Although this one is...a little different, LOL.

This is Istvan Blake, a descendant of Houdini through an illegitimate line, but he's doing his best to make Grandpa Harry proud. He makes his living as a stage magician, and he's really good at it. That's how he met his wife Zelda (who Rae is bringing in), and they're basically Gomez and Morticia trying to live their best magical lives. They've relocated to SD to stop one of Zelda's sisters from trying to grab power at the nexus, and he's currently warding the crap out of their house. But soon enough he'll be out and about, meeting people and getting the lay of the land.

Hey all, Ash here with my second character; Remington Hilts, the younger drunken sister of our beloved sheriff Rex Hilts. She's a born werewolf and a Seven Devils native since the age of four or five. The Hilts moved from Texas to find doctors that could help Remi since she was sick, come to find out it was caused by her inherited lycanthropy and she grew out of it once she hit puberty.

She's a horse girl, really into riding and showing them, but went to school for criminology. Found a nice little pack of werewolves at the school she attended and got hunted down by werewolf hunters shortly after graduation. She was the only one to survive (and barely); lost her friends and guy she was dating and has become a bit of a mess ever since.

Spends most of her time drinking, bothering her brother around the station, and being a nuisance riding her motorcycle around town.

She needs friends, drinking buddies, and people that are willing to look beyond her sassy sarcastic exterior to the warm cinnamon roll she is beneath.
